All accounts must be in good standing, with all previous balances paid in full, in order to register for a new class. Seraka Studios reserves the right to collect unpaid balances and incurred fees for services through the appropriate means.
If for any reason a dancer chooses to leave their registered class(es), notification via email is necessary (not verbally or on social media).
Registrations cannot be shared with, or transferred to, another dancer. Unused classes cannot be transferred to a new term.
In the event of a storm, classes will be rescheduled if possible. Rescheduling classes depend on studio availability, and are not guaranteed. If rescheduling is not possible, a refund for the missed class will be provided.
We only close when absolutely necessary, for the safety of teachers and students. Please always refer to our website and social media channels for updates and posted notices.
If you miss a class, you are welcome to attend another class at or below your current level at any point in the term. We cannot offer make up classes in future terms, or for missed workshops.
Classes are a safe space that is positive, non-competitive and encouraging. We aim to support your journey in dance and movement, and provide the space for you to be your favourite self. This is a guiding principle for us. If this has not been your experience, please reach out so that we can do better.
Classes are generally filled with women of all ages, sizes, abilities, and backgrounds – however all genders and identities are welcomed.
Classes currently have no age limit, however the teaching style is intended for adults age 18+. There is reference to anatomy, and repetitive movements which younger dancers may not be as engaged in. Some of the discussions may be a bit mature or out-of-range for younger dancers. If you have a younger dancer interested, please reach out to the instructor before registering.
